This policy describes how LumenReads selects, creates, and presents fiction on the site.

Original English fiction

Stories on LumenReads are written and published as original English works for online reading. We do not republish scraped or unauthorized translations of third-party novels.

Creation process

• Outlines and chapters are produced with editorial guidance and AI-assisted drafting tools.
• Each work is structured as a complete reading experience with a clear title, description, and chapter list.
• Published chapters are reviewed for basic readability, formatting, and site compatibility before release.

Genres and categories

Fiction is grouped by genre (fantasy, romance, mystery, etc.) to help readers browse. Category labels describe theme and tone; they are not endorsements of external franchises or authors.

Updates and corrections

We may edit titles, descriptions, or chapter text to fix errors, improve clarity, or comply with policy. Major structural changes to a work are kept to a minimum once readers are actively following a story.

Reader accounts

Accounts are optional. They exist to save bookshelf items and reading progress—not to submit user-generated novels through the public site.
